Shannon studied Business Administration at Lincoln Land Community College and UIS, and has always had a passion for helping people achieve total body health. When she’s not in the office, you can find her with paint brush or pen in hand, knee-deep in restoration projects, or participating in her small-town community events. She enjoys seeing patients reclaim their quality of life and hopes to continue serving them for years to come!

Amy FanterLMT, LPN
Amy is a long time proponent of chiropractic and massage therapy. She understands the benefit of combining massage therapy with chiropractic adjustments to heal the body. Amy provides years of experience providing quality massage therapy. Amy also duals as an LPN and serves her community with home health, nursing services, and patient care. She has the knowledge of a nurse and the hands on skills of a trained licensed massage therapist.

Pat CurryChiropractic Assistant
Pat has been on the team with Curry Chiropractic since the start! We are excited to have a smiling face at the front desk. Pat has been an integral part of helping the office get started. She continues to provide excellent help to the front desk and will assist in anything that you need. We appreciate her dedicated service and help to Curry Chiropractic. Pat is a proud grandmother and very active in her community and church.

Alicia DirksenLMT
Alicia M. Dirksen is a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Licensed Massage Therapist. She graduated from Healing Hands School of Holistic Health in Laguna Hills, California in 2014. In March of 2021, Alicia opened her business, Kiron Wellness, in Springfield, IL, operating in association with Curry Chiropractic.
She has studied a wide variety of healing modalities including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) utilizing acupressure points and energetic meridians in addition to other TCM therapies such as Cupping Therapy, GuaSha and Moxibustion. She uses a unique combination of healing modalities to personalize each treatment. Alicia believes everything in the body, and mind, is connected and she works to bring overall balance through a variety of healing techniques such as acupressure, triggerpoint, neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue, reflexology, energy work and more. Alicia also specializes in a unique style of massage called Ashiatsu. In the Japanese language “Ashi” translates to foot and “Atsu” into pressure. Using the padded soles of the foot this massage provides an experience like no other. Deeply relieving pain and tension and achieving better, longer lasting results.
With over 1500 hours of training and many years of experience, Alicia offers a very unique and effective healing treatment style. She is passionate about helping clients meet their personal health and healing goals through individualized treatment plans and bringing awareness to the nature of holistic healing and health.

Julie Kennedy
Julie came to us as a state employee retiree. Upon retiring 5 years ago, Julie was looking for something to do in her spare time. After working at a retail craft store for a while, she heard we were looking for an office assistant in Springfield then soon joined our team. With a work background that includes working with people, she enjoys interacting with our clients and staff from her position at the front desk. Julie's current hobby of choice is crafting with her Cricut but she enjoys many types of crafts, jigsaw puzzles, and reading in her spare time. Like her co-workers here at Curry, Julie is an animal lover having adopted several rescue animals over the years. Julie and her family currently have 1 cat (Gingy) and 1 dog (Princess).

Emily ClaycombMassage Therapist
Emily is a Springfield native and has been a massage therapist for 4 years(graduating from MTI in 2019), specializing in trigger point, prenatal, Swedish and deep tissue massage.
When she's not working, she enjoys relaxing at home with her fiancé and watching YouTube videos. She is very excited to be a part of the Curry Chiropractic team!

Allison graduated in 2021 as a CNA from Midwest Technical Institute. She wanted to continue her education and returned to Midwest Technical, completing the Medical Assistant program in 2023. Allison has a passion for working in the healthcare industry and making a difference in people's lives.
When not working Allison enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs. Her favorite hobbies are thrifting, interior decorating, and watching sports.
